If you wish to provide your electric meter reading, you can do so by providing the following information. In any case, if you already have a smart meter, you will benefit from the advanced technology that it assumes with respect to the accuracy in the measure, which has repercussions on an accurate invoicing based on your automated meter management system.
What is required?
A valid low-voltage electricity contract.
A contracted power of up to 15 kW, with or without daylight savings time rates.
In order for the readings provided to be used in your next bill, it is necessary to communicate them within the period stipulated in R.D. 1718/2012. In any case, it is best to do so within 7 days before the date of issue of the next bill. Use your last bill issued as a reference, taking the end date of the billed period that appears in the information on your electricity consumption. You should check whether your billed consumption is monthly or bimonthly to correctly estimate the date of your next bill, so that your reading provided is more effective.
