e-distribución has developed a new approach towards the agents of the electricity sector around the "Platform Company" model. Continuing with the digital transformation process, we make available our functionalities and information flows in the form of "e-API" (API e-distribución), to enable new projects and opportunities.

The APIs ("Application Programming Interface") are fast and intuitive interfaces that allow the sharing of information and services in a predefined way between the corporate systems of e-distribución and the applications of the agents interested in its use, allowing access in real-time. Each e-API is not only a software component, but also a new way of providing value-added information to favour new collaboration models.

 

Available APIs

API for Checking Outages and Scheduled Cuts

 

This API is available only to energy suppliers and provides access to information regarding outages and scheduled cuts affecting the CUPs in our distribution areas.

Through this API, they can check the status of their customers’ CUPS, and as a result of the API call, they can identify whether a specific CUPS is affected by an unplanned interruption (outage) or an interruption due to scheduled works (for facility improvements or maintenance), including the start time of the disruption and the expected resolution time.

Suppliers interested in using this API may request access to the service via our new e-distribución e-API ecosystem portal, which can be accessed via the following email address edistribucionweb@enel.com.
