Registering metering devices
On this page, we explain how to register one or more metering devices easily. You simply need to fill out the application and provide the necessary documentation.
Which devices can you register?
You can request the registration of the following devices:
- Meter
- Modem (with SIM)
- Instrument transformers
Note for modem registration (IP address): The fixed IP must be public; private IPs in the following ranges are NOT valid: 10.0.0.0 – 10.255.255.255 / 172.16.0.0 – 172.31.255.255 / 192.168.0.0 – 192.168.255.255 / 127.0.0.0 – 127.255.255.255 / 169.254.0.0 – 169.254.255.255 / 224.0.0.0 – 255.255.255.254"

How can you request registration?
You have two options for completing the procedure.
Option 1: Via the e‑distribución website
- Access our 'Metering device registration' service.
- Fill in the device details.
- Attach the requested documentation.
- In the case of instrument transformers, include the manufacturer's protocols.
- Submit the form.
Option 2: Via e-mail
- Download and fill in the application form.
- Send it to the address gestcal_alta_edm@enel.com.
- In the subject line of the email, state the province and one of the following details:
- Contract number
- Supply Point Universal Code (SPUC)
- Application number
Replacing the metering device
Once we confirm the device registration, you can request its installation or replacement via one of the following channels.
Option 1: Website (private area)
Access the e‑distribución private area.
You must be registered to use this option.
Option 2: Telephone
Call 900 878 119 and provide the following information:
- SPUC and supply address.
- Item you wish to replace.
- State whether you own the device.
- Contact person's details and mobile number.
- This person must be present on the day of installation and provide the device.
Option 3: Via your energy supplier
- ATR request according to the formats established by the CNMC.
- In the comments section, enter the name and telephone number of the person who will provide the device.
