Introduction

We sometimes need to temporarily interrupt the electricity supply to carry out improvement and maintenance work on our network.

These actions are necessary to guarantee people's safety and improve service quality.

If you have a supply connected to the e‑distribución network, you can receive advance alerts when planned outages affect your supply point.

How can you receive the alerts?

You can do so in two ways, completely free of charge:

  • By email
    We will send an alert to the email address you provide when you register for the notifications service.
  • From your private area
    You can check active alerts via the web notifications in your private area.

What do you need to do?

  • Registering for notifications is optional, but highly recommended.
  • You can manage this at any time from your private area.
  • You do not need to contact your energy supplier for this procedure.

Notifications for power outages and service disruptions
  • When will I receive the alert?

    • Generally, we will notify you at least 24 hours in advance, unless you live or the supply is located in Extremadura, in which case the alert will arrive at least 48 hours in advance.

  • How can I track a fault?

    • If you have reported a fault and want to track it, you will need the alert code. We will provide this code when you call the faults helpline for your autonomous community 

  • How will I know how long I will be affected by the outage?

    • In the notification you receive, we will inform you of the expected duration of the outage. You can also track the status of the outage via the faults map on our website.

      For safety reasons, before the outage, we recommend unplugging appliances that could cause damage if forgotten and left switched on (ceramic hobs, induction hobs, air conditioning, electric heaters, etc.)
