    When is it necessary for installations to be adopted?

    • Designed to supply more than one consumer, must be adopted by the distribution company and become part of the local distribution grid.

    Stages prior to the adoption of installations

    The adoption process begins following an access and connection application, wherein the applicant commissions the new grid extension from a certified installer.

    1. Access and connection request,
    2. Acceptance of the preliminary proposal,
    3. Access and connection permit, and
    4. Execution of the client's network extension project and assignment management.

     

     

    Necessary procedures for execution and adoption

    Once the preliminary proposal has been accepted, and if the applicant chooses to execute the works for subsequent adoption, the following procedures must be completed:

    • Technical conformity of the design specifications.
    • Documentation review and completion of works.
    • Technical inspection of the works (supervision).
    • Signing of the adoption agreement and legalisation or change of ownership, if applicable.
    • Commissioning of the installations.
